One day to go ...
Well, we all travel down to a hotel near Heathrow today ready to fly tomorrow. Nerves and excitement in equal measure at the moment and the dreaded questions of what to pack or not to pack! People from work have been sending best wishes and good luck messages all week and friends and family have promised to check the blog on a regular basis to find out what we are all upto (some don't use computers normally so this is a big win!). John Goodship, our GSE co-ordinator has sent us on our way with good wishes so we just have Terminal 5 to negotiate before we can relax on the flight !!

Presentation to Framlingham and 1080 DG ...
Well, time is ticking away with only 10 days left to go until we fly to India. Last night we were invited to Framlingham Rotary Club to give our team presentation to the club and the 1080 District Governor, John Samuel. As usual, our Rotary hosts could not have been more welcoming and it was great to see and talk to the DG before we disappear next week.
Also, because we were on "home ground" for Nick and Magnus it was very entertaining to see them being teased and barracked by members of the club during the evening and during our presentation!

Solo presentation to my sponsoring club ...
Well - 12th January and it was finally time for me to make my solo presentation to my sponsoring club, the Rotary Club of Great Yarmouth, prior to disappearing to Bangalore. I was extremely nervous but was kindly reassured that the presentation had gone well and the club expressed delight that a Great Yarmouth person had been successful in getting onto the team. So phew - only the pre-trip presentation to the DG and Framlingham group to go before we appear in front of our Bangalore hosts ....
